Every period has a legendary teenage rom-com that is passed down to the following generation, and these films never lose their allure, even decades later. Grease and Dirty Dancing, The Breakfast Club, and Pretty in Pink are just a few examples. There were movies like 10 Things I Hate About You, She’s All That, and Clueless in the 1990s. Freaky Friday, A Cinderella Story, A Walk to Remember, and a slew of other teen rom-coms dominated the early 2000s. The only reason I’m mentioning all of these movies is because The Kissing Booth 3 will not be one of them.
Elle Evans (King) makes a decision on which college she will go in the third installment of the franchise. On the one hand, she has her lover Noah (Elordi), who attends Harvard. Berkeley, on the other hand, is where her best friend Lee (Courtney) want to go. It is established in the first two films that Elle and Lee follow a set of best-friend rules, one of which is to attend the same college. As shown in the first film, when Lee prohibited Elle from dating his brother Noah, the rules are relatively unbreakable for them. IMDB
